Santa Claus. He Came, He Went, He Conquered.

I know this post is long past due, but here are some pictures from my holiday at home with the family in Arizona.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, Santa was
putting presents under the tree and...
Never mind, there won't be any rhyming (I'm not very good at it).

Christmas eve and it was time to put presents under the tree.

Santa wants to keep his identity hidden.
(Sort of like Wilson on the show Home Improvement)

The beautiful Christmas tree.

My cute stocking hung there with care. I had
to go up in the attic to get my stocking because my parents
put up the wrong one. That's what happens when you have newer
stockings and you never know whose is whose.
Christmas Morning! It was so much fun to have little kids around, even
if they don't quite understand the concept of Santa yet. Here is my brother Derek
and his son Chase as the gift opening extravaganza began.

Santa brought Maeley lots of presents and toys for Christmas. Her favorite
by far, though, was her rocket from Little Einsteins.

Maeley was so excited. She LOVES Little Einsteins.

Melanie, my sister-in-law, and baby Chase.

Mom opening up her surprise gift from all the kids and Grandma
Clawson, new everyday dishes from Mikasa!

Daddy with his surprise Christmas gift.

Linus got a new bed for Christmas. Maeley decided that she wanted
to help him break it in.

Maeley after she changed out of her Christmas PJs.

Phillip, Stephanie, and Parker came over to join in the Christmas fun.
That morning they opened up their envelope from the doctor and found out
that they will be having another boy. Hurrah for more nephews!

Little Parker.

Miss Maeley helps her cousin open up his presents...now that she's a pro.
Father and son in their Phoenix Suns jerseys.

Christmas was so nice and relaxing. I'll be posting some more pictures from my trip in the next couple of days, so be sure to check back!

Crystal, you know, you could post some pictures from your first Christmas with Gene. Just a thought.

Too bad that was all I got to see of your family during the holidays! Time always flies by. But it looks like you all had a wonderful Christmas!
