"Both, but never mind the bread!"
Ok, I know to most of you that quote won't make any sense, but for those of you who 'really' know me (and you know who you are), than it will make perfect sense. I know I haven't blogged anything in the past week, so I'm just going to sum up the past weeks of experiences in one long post, complete with pictures.
Mel's birthday dinner at Cafe Lalo (from
You've Got Mail). This is Heidi and Melanie.
Melanie is sporting the lovely pink birthday boa.
(look what you get to wear in a couple of weeks Brenda!)
Sara looking so cute.
That same evening, after dinner, I met up with some other friends
at Johnny Utah's to watch some people ride the only mechanical bull
in New York City. Go Julia!
This is Ellie having a good time. Right when she got on
they started playing Sweet Home Alabama.
The girls at Johnny Utah's after riding the bull.
Check out the new bookshelf that I bought
and put together. I think it looks pretty nice.
Together, Brenda and I make DIAMOND records, baby!
And we did it without any cowbell!
I love looking out my window on days like this.
No joke, this is the view from my bedroom window.
Caught a tiny glimpse of the lunar eclipse.
These are the days that I don't like looking out the window.
My response that morning before heading out to work?
Boo! (Thanks for that one Heidi)
Saturday morning, I slept in (like usual) and before actually
getting up I grabbed my computer and was checking email, etc
while in the comfort of my bed. Well, Courtnie walked in and
said in a very cheery voice, "Good Morning Sunshine!"
She than continued, which I somehow sensed that she would,
with "The earth says hello!" (name that movie Don!)
We had a good laugh.
Let me just say, I got some awesome news on Saturday night.
It made my weekend.
Crumbs Cupcakes! We just found out that there is a Crumbs
just a couple of blocks away. I'm definitely in trouble.
These particular treats are Caramel Apple (on the right)
and Banana Split. Yum!
END.

Love the pictures! and I'm glad that you got to see the eclipse. I totally missed it. Cloudy night!
Kim! I like you and I think you are funny and you have a great view from your bedroom window. Also, funny how you have a red telephone booth picture. I was just writing about the ones we have here last night!
