And now Brittany and I are too!
(well, at least getting closer)
It all started on a very foggy and wet day,
this past Saturday to be exact. Don't believe
me on how "very foggy" it was, here is evidence.

Neither could you see far past the Federal Reserve.
likelihood of rain great, Brittany and I
pressed on with our objective for that day.
First we grabbed the free water taxi that
would take us to our precise destination.
to help us get organized, as the post indicates.
Brittany excited after finishing up at IKEA after
a very successful trip, that took us only an hour
to go through the showroom to find the pieces
we were looking for and collect aisle and bin info,
get said items from the self-serve furniture area,
purchase the items, and set up home delivery for
later that day (hey, you try getting 200lbs of stuff
to an apartment in NY without a car).
at the temple, and our delivery finally arrived (slightly
late), Brittany and I began the task of putting
together our new furniture.
(oh, and don't worry mothers we stopped
to eat dinner and watch Women's Conference)
I was pretty handy with the power drill, which
I'm so thankful Amber owns one as it made the
building process SOOOOO much easier and faster.
quote of mine, "Take it Kronk, feeeel the power.
Oh, I can feel it."
And here I am (looking so lovely), with the
finished dresser and feeling pretty good.
So that is the story of how Brittany finally got
organized by buying a dresser and desk. Now
we just need to actually put things in said dresser
and desk (though, the desk has already proven
useful as I am currently using the desk as I write
this post. Sweet!)
Oh, and don't be silly...chickens are too stupid.
They are not organized. It's all in your head.

I LOVE IKEA!! I'm jealous you have one so close. Someday they will build one in Saint Louis.
Also, I found it very interesting the fog was over the federal reserve building.. very symbolic of the times I think.
Love the furniture. Looking forward to seeing the completed room. Aunt Kathy
