Do Easter Eggs make you happy?
(note, the above is the same egg, different sides)
I must say it is really great having family around
for the holidays. Surprisingly, this is the first time
I've dyed Easter eggs since living in NY, but with
Brittany around it makes the holidays more enjoyable
and I can actually participate in some of the holiday
traditions/festivities without feeling like a loner/dork.
So Saturday night after getting home from the temple,
we hard boiled the eggs and brought out the coloring kit.
We didn't get pictures of us in action, but we do have
the finished products.
Brittany's carton is on the left and mine
is on the right (except I did the face one).

Maybe we've been away from home too long
and forgotten traditions, such as...
...where do you hide the eggs?
Brittany thought maybe her mouth
was a good hiding place.

Moving on...here are some close ups of the eggs.
My "blue duck" egg.
that represented each roommate.
The frog for me (left), Alec the Rabbit for Anna
(right) as she really loves the Pixar short,
and a pig for Brittany (right)
