Ole' Kentucky Wedding

My dear cousin Michael, Brittany's older brother,
finally found him a women (thankfully one he is
not related to), and back in May was when the
two lovebirds got hitched. After everyone else
has posted their pictures, it's about time I share
some of the highlights from the wedding on my blog.

In the Clawson family, no wedding/event/family
gathering is complete without frog-eyed salad. Aunt
Kathy made sure to make plenty for the reception dinner.
The night before the wedding was the family dinner.
This was my first time meeting Micah, my cousin
Shannon's husband of 8 years. This is little Lincoln.
Grandma and Uncle Bill (and Aunt Nancy)
made the trip from Arizona.
Typical Brittany.
The happy couple.
Uncle Evan making his speech.
Grandma and all the daughters, me as a proxy for
my mom since the parents are in Africa.
The day of the Wedding!

After a beautiful sealing, we all waiting for the
couple to come out...traditional Mormon wedding stuff.
Jonah with Aunt Nancy's cane.
Yeah!
All the Barrington kids and their spouses.
Brittany looking a little robtronic.
After the wedding, Brittany and I helped with
preparing for the reception, namely dipping strawberries.
The kids table.
Candy table.
The cake (made by the mother of the bride)
Michael diving into his Nascar groom's cake.
When the reception started, I had to say
my congratulations to the bride and groom!
Grandma and Aunt Nancy looking lovely.
Kate and Jonah dancing.
Decorating the car...
Waiting for the newly weds to come out.
Weddings are exhausting!
Apparently at the end of the evening, it was quite
popular to use the decorations to add an extra
touch of class to one's ensemble.
Congratulations again Michael and Caroline!
