Winter Wonderland

I know it isn't officially winter yet, but here in New York City it might as well be. First off, a week ago my roommate Brenda and I decided that we would do a little craft project and make snowflakes. Then our roommate Melanie decided that with our new blue wall (it still needs some touching up I might add) that the snowflakes would look beautiful up against it.
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Brenda and Melanie enjoying the snowflakes.

All cozy under the snow.
The snowflakes all put up.

This is my favorite that Brenda made. It looks like a real snowflake!

And today, we had our first "real" snow. This year it snowed a lot earlier.
Last year we didn't have a really good snow until Valentine's Day. I
don't know how I feel about snow this early in the winter.

Brenda out on our terrace.
Everything covered in white.

Brenda's tiny snowman.

All I hope is this doesn't mean tons of snow this winter.

Those are some of the coolest snowflakes I have ever seen! Of course that is Brendas snow flake...everything of hers has to be perfect! I love how you guys finally got the wall painted. Looks like you painted the bookcase too...looks much better than the red! Tell Courtney that I decided to get my wedding cake from Carrie's Cakes...she really does make a mean (and tasty) cake.
