Benefit Evening

Yesterday after work, I was invited to attend a benefit event
for Studio Dante sponsored by Architectural Digest (one of
the magazines we work with for our Dacor client).
So Brian, KHP and her husband, and I went to the
Rubin Art Museum to go kick it with some celebrities.

The event was a first reading to help benefit up-and-coming
play writes. But, I'm sure most of you are wondering, "Kim,
what celebrities were you kickin' it with?" Well, let me tell you.
There was:

Michael Imperioli
Drea de Matteo
Vincent Pastore
Aida Tururro
Stanley Tucci
Chris Cooper
and
Laura Bacall

Chris Cooper, Drea de Matteo, and Stanley Tucci read
a short play called Squalor.

After the readings, Michael Imperioli presented a special
tribute to the lovely and talented Laura Bacall.

It was a very fun evening and quite the experience. I should
have taken more pictures, but I'm mostly hitting myself over
the head for not asking Chris Cooper for a picture together when
I had a chance. He sure was really nice and I'm sure he would
have been happy to if I had just asked. Darn.
