Macy's Flower Show

So last Friday I stopped by the Macy's flagship store to check
out their annual Flower Show. I had heard about it from my
roommate Brenda and didn't want to miss out.

Upon entering Macy's through their Main entrance on Broadway,
there was this large bouquet of flowers. If you couldn't tell, the
base is a replica of the Macy's building itself.
Pretty cool, huh?

As I continued into the store they had the bouquet
by the florist of the day. As you can tell, this particular
day the bouquet was a huge earth.

Besides the main bouquets, there were flowers everywhere
decorating pretty much the whole first floor.

Also a gazebo.

Macy's also did window displays along Broadway
showing fashion through the decades.
The outfits were done entirely out of flowers.

1920s
1950s
1960s
1970s
1980s
I must say the window displays were my favorite part.
I also think I did a pretty good job with the pictures. :)

Kim, those flowers are amazing. I'm really starting to get the "vacation" bug. I will definitely have to come out this fall and see you.
