The Big T-W-O!

It's the moment you have all been waiting for....
Parker's Birthday Party Pictures.

**Warning** This is a crazy long post.

Early Saturday Morning, preparations began for
the big day. First order of business...
The Bouncy Castle! Well, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
to be exact. Phillip and Stephanie decided a bounce would
be a great idea for Parker's birthday party.
Even though the party wasn't set to start for another
couple of hours, this didn't mean that we couldn't
test out the bounce.

Maeley and Melanie had the honor of
being the first bouncers.
Once Maeley figured out the whole idea of the bounce, she
thought it was the greatest thing in the world.
Such a cute little mother-daughter picture.
I decided to join the girls in on the fun.
Maeley and I jumping around.
Watch out Maeley! Grandma is going to get you!Is that really my mother? Look how scared Maeley is.
(I must say my mom is pretty awesome. She makes
a very fun and entertaining Grandma.)Chase was getting in on the pre-party bounce
action as well.
Silly Maeley!
Meanwhile, outside of the bounce, Chase was playing
with some balloon ribbons. But where did all
the balloons come from? This meant only one thing...
...the Birthday Boy had final arrived!
It was time to show Parker the big birthday surprise.
Maeley says, "Follow me!"
Parker was thinking this is pretty awesome.
Maeley shows her cousin how it's done.
Stephanie works on putting up the decorations.
Look at at those balloons! The party was ready to begin.Wait! Who could this be???
It's Elmo!!!
Look, it's Kari and her husband Marc (not to be confused
with little brother Marc who is on a mission in Cambodia).
All the kids got some fun party favors, which included
noisemakers which coincidently didn't make any noise.
Here's Maeley learning what to do.
Taking her noisemaker to the bounce.
The kids coming out again.
Now it's Parker's turn to try his 'silent' noisemaker....and back in the bouncer. Again.
Cute little Parker J!Parker trying to get his dad to follow him.
Look everyone, it's Great Great Granddad Jones.
Not really.
It's Dad growing out his chops for the Stake Pioneer Trek.
Mom and Grandma. Grandma is being so silly.
And now the serious picture.
Kari, Melanie, and Derek. We are such a weird family.
Grandma Clawson and me. I'm her Little Kimmy!
Then it was Birthday Cake Time! Or was it?
Parker was so excited for his Elmo cake.
But cake would have to wait. It was present time!
Parker made out like a bandit and quite the pile of gifts.
Time to see what Aunt Kimichanga got Parker.
It's a Mets hat! He sure looks cute.
Maeley had to go get her hat since cousin
Parker had his hat on now. Seriously,
there has to be two of everything so these kids
don't fight over it (including little doll baby strollers).
And still more presents...Parker was getting
kind of tired of opening things and than having
to put it down to open something else. He would
have been fine with just one present.
Now it's time for birthday cake.
Parker blowing out the candle!
The best part of the cake...licking the candle.
How about a little more?
Elmo's eyes and nose on a plate.
Now that's something I've always wanted.
The birthday boy diggin' in.
Maeley enjoying her cake and ice cream!

The After Party:

Welcome to Death Fighting! j/k
But seriously, there was a little wrestling in
the bounce once all the little kiddies were gone
(well besides the usual kiddies that are around).

Introducing the Wrestlers:

Stormin' Philly Joe Jones
D-Rack the Destroyer
Ready, set..."ding ding ding"!
"Wrestle!"
Maeley vs. Parker: Extreme Bounce Wrestling
Everyone goofing around.Dad decided to stop the air pump while people were
still inside. Mickey's Clubhouse started to come down
pretty quick!
Don't worry, Dad turned it back on. Then Phillip
decided to run and slide his way out of the bounce.
Parker J with his balloon.
Maeley with all the rest of the balloons.

Well, I know this was a long post (so thanks for bearing with me)!
Hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them
and sharing them. I was sure glad I was able to make it home
for such a fun and special occasion!
