It's official people! They are building a Latter-Day Saint Temple in my home-town of Gilbert, AZ. I was pretty excited when I heard the news. The additional temple in the Phoenix Valley will be such a great blessing to the people there as the Mesa Temple is always so busy.
Here is an additional link from another blogger about the temple and how there are talks that it may resemble the San Diego Temple.

Poor West Phoenix Mormons - they never get any love.
This is true Jeff, but when I talked with my sister she did mention there is rumor of a temple being built in Peoria. If this is true and how soon? I know not. So maybe one day soon.
