Well, after the last post from my AZ trip, I needed a week
of recovery (that was a super long post!!). Anyway, so now
it is time for a little catching up, which is perfect because
the post also involves catching up with old friends.
Saturday (April 26th):
First up, Brunch with Marky Mark! He's back in the city
and he's ready for some action. Having just got back to NYC
the day before, we met up for breakfast/brunch that next morning.

Mark and Brenda at Kitchenette, a cute and delicious
little place in Tribeca area.
little place in Tribeca area.
Like usual, Brenda made Sunday dinner, but we had a
lot of visitors and friends over--Marky Mark, Colin, Brigham,
and Melanie's niece Lizzy and sister-in-law Leslie.
This was Colin after dinner, all rolled up in the table clothe.
Lizzie had been looking forward to this all weekend (well, except
for going to Wicked...but who really cares about that?)
Lizzie and Lyndee get ready for some singing.
well, just to watch. I guess karaoke isn't for everyone.
I love it when Brigham sings Crazy in Love by Beyonce
(though he didn't sing any this time).
and Colin. They did an amazing job of failing Flashdance
about four times. Colin did bring a lot of heart to the music.
come to visit and join in on Sunday Night Karaoke.
Tuesday (April 29th):
Brittany's in NYC!!!!
This is my cousin Brittany and she is here for
the summer interning at Nielsen (you know the
TV ratings people). Currently she is chillin' on the
Upper West Side, but will be moving down to Wall St
this next month. I'm so ecstatics to have her here.
The last couple of days have been pretty cold
and drabby, but today the sun finally came out again.
After dinner (which was enjoyed out on the balcony),
Sara, Courtnie and I went on a little stroll down
through Battery Park.
Next to Westside Hwy, there were a bunch of
red tulips in reddish-orange planter boxes.
I always love the juxtaposition of nature and urban life.
Well, that's it. All caught up now. Not terribly exciting,
but that's what is going on.
but that's what is going on.
